Ezra Bufford

Ezra Bufford was born in Indianapolis, In on November 3, 1952. At 2 weeks old, he was blessed to be adopted and raised by saved and God fearing parents. Yearning to fulfill his calling for God’s music, he began his piano playing by ear at an early age of 8. By not having a piano at his home, Ezra spent every spare minute practicing on any piano at his home church, Christ Temple. His father never had to look for him, for he always knew where there was a piano, there was Ezra. Ezra has been playing the piano and organ for over 30 years.

His great musical experience includes:

• Christ Temple Apostolic Church
• Scott United Methodist Church Organist
• Bethel Tabernacle Church
• Al Hobbs “Jubilation” Television Show
• Indianapolis Pentecostal Mass Choir
• Indianapolis Rev. Cleveland Gospel Music Workshop Chapter Mass Choir
• Indianapolis Pentecostal State recording Choir
• All female gospel singing group “Friends”
• First place winner at the UAW GM talent show
• Phillips Temple AME Methodist Church Organist
• The National recording group “The Pentecostal Ambassadors”
• The Easter Passion Play “Upon This Rock”
• Pianist for “Gospel Meets Symphony” concerts
• Grace Apostolic Church
• Temple of Praise Assembly which he is presently a member and the organist

Ezra has played for many weddings, dinners, and soloist, on the local and national level. Ezra is married to Pamela M. Bufford and they are the parents of 4 children and 9 grand children.
